The Boys and Girls Track and Field team continued strong over the weekend with a number of medal winning performances in the 33 team Mid Penn Conference championships.

Leading the way was Kye’mere Robinson, who defended his championship from last year with another gold medal in the triple jump in a personal best 45’11”.

Sophomore Samantha Campbell took the silver medal in the 3200 meter run, less than one second behind the winner.

Nico Oshunrinade, 3200 meters, and Caroline Bannak, 300 meter hurdles took bronze medals in their specialties.

Caroline also placed 7th in the 100 meter hurdles.

Other medalists - top 8 - included Owen Clapsadle, 4th in the 800; Boys 4 x 800 relay of Nico Oshunrinade, Luke Breighner, Luis Martinez, and Owen Clapsadle, 4th place - - and the Girls 4 x800 relay of Audrey Trax, Lily Arnold, Samantha Campbell and Caroline Bannak 5th place.

The Boys and Girls teams have qualified a combined 14 athletes for this weekend’s District 3 Championships.
