Name: Erica Winpigler
Coaching Experience: over 10 years coaching girls' lacrosse (from K-HS levels, both rec and club programs)
Favorite Coaching Memory: Watching both of my girls play in a HS district playoff game at the same time
Coaching Philosophy:
I value effort over outcome. Players are expected to:
? Compete hard every day
? Be coachable and open to learning
? Take responsibility for their actions on and off the field
Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities. Accountability is paired with support, not fear.
A strong team culture is built on respect, trust, and communication from both the players and the coaches. I encourage:
? Selfless play and support for teammates
? Leadership at all levels, not just captains
? Celebrating others’ success as much as your own
We play for each other, understanding that team success comes from shared commitment.
Why do you coach at Gettysburg?: I love working with these girls, most from the first day they have ever picked up a stick. Lacrosse is a true passion of my entire family, and I love igniting that spark in my players as well.
